Darck Repacks Presents .pngskyrim_special_edition.png

Intro.png

Release date: October 28, 2016
Developer: Bethesda Softworks
Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
Series: The Elders Scrolls
Genre: RPG

descr.png

The Special Edition is a brighter, sharper version of the exemplary game many people will
have played a lot before –– perhaps even for hundreds of hours on multiple play throughs.
Its skies may now be more vibrant, its forests livelier and its cities more detailed, but
its soul remains just as rich as it was back in 2011.

It starts, as every Elder Scrolls game does, with you in chains;
heading towards your execution. You don’t know what you did to get yourself into this
sticky situation, but you’ll quickly find out that death isn’t on the menu for you today.
Just as you stick your head onto the block, ready for it to be unceremoniously lopped off,
a dragon attacks the city you’re being held in. You take this advantage to escape in the
chaos, and venture out into the world to forge your own legend.

From there the possibilities are –– almost literally –– endless. You could pursue your
first main quest and discover the road to uncovering your destiny as the Dragonborn, a
rare breed intrinsically linked to the army of dragons who’ve conveniently returned to
Skyrim. Or you could wander off on your own path; become a warrior and take up arms with
the Companions guild in Whiterun; study the arcane arts and become a mage, specialising
in any of Skyrim’s five main magical schools –– Destruction, Restoration, Illusion,
Conjuration and Alteration.....

So.... After you installed repack and nexus mod manager:

1 - you need to start game through Skyrim Launcher to build up Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini (located in %\USERS(your session)\My Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition)

2 - Once started, close game and go back to GAME DIR and copy both INI files provided in REDIST directory and paste them to \MY DOCUMENTS\MY GAMES\SKYRIM SPECIAL EDITION (click yes to replace both  Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini)

3 - start NEXUS MOD MANAGER and let it find your install dir for Skyrim SE (it can take a few minutes to complete)

Once  NEXUS MOD MANAGER finds game dir , validate game dir path and start NEXUS MOD MANAGER. (Click yes to MODS backup folders proposal : you will only need them if you plan to install other mods)

4 - When you finally reach main NEXUS MOD MANAGER window (with Plugins and Mods tabs) you just have to click on " Import a load order".

LOAD THE "LoadOrder_SkyrimSE.txt" provided in REDIST directory, inside GAME DIR ... it should tick every MODS , if not make sure you manually select all additional mods (like in picture).

5 - YOU ARE READY TO LAUNCH GAME ....ENJOY

NOW THAT YOU HAVE SET UP NEXUS MOD MANAGER YOU CAN EVEN START GAME WITH SKYRIM DESKTOP SHORTCUT !! ...no need to use NMM anylonger apart from adding/removing MODS

You need to start Skyrim (The game ) first to create the ini files !

you need to copy ini files from REDIST in game dir to \My Documents\MY GAMES\Skyrim Special Edition .... (forgot about "\MY GAMES\"...sorry)

then you can start Nexus Mod Manager....

don't bother with mod back up folders ...just click ok (just needed if you plan to install other mods)..... : )

Hi, I created an account to thank for this beautiful repack. Is it possible to make a modified version of the oblivion? Like a Oblivion Association?

Hey nice job on the repack but I'm having some problems. In Riverwood and some surrounding ares, the roads have massive holes...or craters in them which the npcs cannot walk over or across. They get stuck. Which mod is making this happen?

There are more areas with even BIGGER CRATERS

There are massive holes indeed in my gameplay as well and this is all perfectly normal : what is not is that you get stuck on them !! ....I do not have problems crossing those holes !

Did you install update1 I provided? ...it is important since I removed possibly incompatible Mods and provide a new load order txt file to fix some textures and LOD problems : )

If you installed this update then try to unload(untick)  "real roads" MOD in Nexus mod Manager and start game ....waiting for your feedback
