The MAGIX Samplitude Pro X5 Suite is the ideal, complete solution for personal computer music production, providing a complete set of essential professional tools for both solo and studio projects. MAGIX Samplitude is a complete set of tools for a computer workstation that is the backbone of a production, post-production or mastering studio. It includes the standard features of any multitrack program - recording, editing, mixing, processing with effects, etc., sound editing functions (not inferior in range and power to specialized audio editors), support for modern multimedia formats, allowing you to work with some of them directly, without intermediate conversion.

• MAGIX Samplitude allows you to master mixed (or separately loaded) material - from editing and processing to labeling CD-tracks, and right from the working window of the project to record audio CDs in full compliance with the Red Book standard. Quite justifying its loud name, this version of MAGIX Samplitude Producer really copes with such production tasks as supporting work not only with audio, but also with MIDI and even with video. And the ability to mix audio material in Surround Sound formats (both traditional two-channel and six-channel 5.1) expands the already not narrow horizons of the program. The multitrack part of MAGIX Samplitude Producer is capable of simultaneously working with 999 mono or stereo tracks. The virtual mixer allows signals to be routed to the same number of auxiliary buses, which can be configured as sends or subgroup outputs.

• The audio core of the program, although it records sound data in accordance with the name, that is, with a sampling rate of up to 96 kHz and a bit depth of up to 24 bits (moreover, 24-bit material is presented in 32-bit floating point format), but it can work with files with a sampling rate up to 192 kHz and up to 32 bit. With excellent digital processing algorithms using sequential floating point calculations and absolute phase stability, Samplitude delivers amazingly transparent sounding material even after extensive editing and effects processing. In addition, optimization of the program code of individual real-time effects for Pentium III / IV processors can significantly increase system performance.

• Almost all work in MAGIX Samplitudeis performed not with physical audio fragments (for example, with WAV files), but with links to them. These links are placed in the multi-channel virtual project (VIP) as objects (Objects), which are displayed in the working window. In addition to the "picture" of the wave, the objects contain various service information that controls the playback of files. Working with objects (that is, performing editing operations, editing, etc.), you change only this service information - the original files remain intact. The very same operation result is calculated by Samplitude in real time, right during playback. In other words, the objects of the virtual project tell the program how and when to play sound files (or parts of them, since an object may not necessarily contain the entire file, but also its fragment).Further manipulations with objects, such as fades, processing with effects, mixing, etc., are also calculated in real time. Samplitude allows you to do all the work from start to finish in a completely non-destructive manner. This makes it possible not only to freely use the same files in several projects at once, but also (most importantly) to avoid the trunk that occurs when the material is constantly saved in the lowest bit format between recalculation operations.arising from the constant saving of the material in the format of the lowest bit depth between recalculation operations.arising from the constant saving of the material in the format of the lowest bit depth between recalculation operations.
