CLS-zstd


Zstandard is a lossless data compression algorithm developed since 2015 by Jan Kolle (Fr. Yann Collet) supported by Facebook.

Combines a dictionary data compression algorithm of type LZ77 and efficient entropy encoding type tANS (FSE - Finite State Entropy), an algorithm similar to Huffman code, implementing an integer number of bits to store characters.

Options:

l=[N] - compression level (1..22)
ws=[N] - window bits (10..30)
hs=[N] - hash size (6..30)
cs=[N] - chain size (6..29)
strategy=[X] - match find strategy ("fast", "dfast", "greedy", "lazy", "lazy2", "btlazy2", "btopt", "btultra", "btultra2")
ldm - enable long distance matches
